Nate Haney grew up outside of Benton and graduated from Circle High School in 2005. Nate went to
Butler Community College and Wichita State University for his undergraduate education. He then attended pharmacy school at Ferris State
University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He graduated with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2012 and his
Masters in Healthcare Administration in 2019.
Nate has worked in a variety of pharmacy settings. He started his pharmacist career at a chain retail
pharmacy, then moving on to an independent retail and compounding pharmacy in Wichita. After this
he worked at an acute care hospital Derby and most recently worked for a sterile manufacturing
pharmacy in Wichita. Nate joined Truecare Pharmacy in September 2023.
Nate says that, “the independent pharmacy setting offers the greatest opportunity to make a difference
in the healthcare outcomes for the local community. Our patients see and talk to us sometimes several
times a month and we pharmacists are easily accessible points of contact for when people have
questions and concerns.”
Nate enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking with his wife and two kids.
